Remodeled in May 2025, it pairs modern comforts with the warmth and architectural character of a classic Pullman property, just a short walk from WSU campus. With sleeping space for 10 guests, two living areas and dining space for everyone, it’s a welcoming home base for families, friends, alumni gatherings and Coug weekends. 🏡 LIVING + GATHERING The spacious main-level living room offers a comfortable place to gather, with a decorative fireplace adding to the home’s charm. The dining table seats all 10 guests—perfect for shared meals, game nights and catching up after a day in Pullman. Downstairs, a second cozy living area with a TV gives your group another place to unwind or spread out. 🍽️ KITCHENS + COFFEE The fully equipped main-level kitchen includes cookware, dishes and utensils for preparing meals at home. A coffee and tea station makes mornings easy. ☕️ A smaller kitchenette on the lower level adds convenience for snacks, drinks and additional food preparation. 🛏️ SLEEP + BATH Four bedrooms across three levels offer two king beds and three queen beds, accommodating up to 10 guests: • Main level: One queen bedroom + a full bathroom • Upper level: Two large king bedrooms, generous storage + a full bathroom • Lower level: One spacious bedroom with two queen beds, a decorative fireplace + a full bathroom Comfortable linens, plush bedding, soft towels and Public Goods bath products help you settle in and feel at home. 🤍 🌿 OUTDOOR LIVING Access the backyard patio from the lower level, where outdoor seating and a grill provide a spot for relaxed meals or unwinding together. 🧺 LAUNDRY A laundry room on the lower level is available for guest use. Detergent pods and dryer sheets are available. 📶 EVERYDAY COMFORTS High-speed Wi-Fi and a Smart TV make it easy to stay connected and sign into your favorite streaming services. 🌡️ HEATING + COOLING The home has central heating throughout all three levels. During warmer months, portable A/C units in both upstairs king bedrooms and the main-level queen bedroom do a great job of cooling these spaces. These units are removed during colder months. The home does not have central A/C. The lower-level bedroom and living area naturally stay cooler in summer, and small fans are provided throughout the home for additional airflow. 🚗 PARKING Two off-street parking spaces are provided, along with two permits for additional street parking. Please display the provided permits when using street parking. 📍 LOCATION Located in WSU’s historic College Hill neighborhood, The Illinois House is a short walk from campus—a convenient setting for game days, graduation, university visits and alumni weekends. From charming architectural details to thoughtfully updated interiors, The Illinois House offers space to gather, room to spread out and a comfortable place to return to. ✦ 🔥 DECORATIVE FIREPLACES The fireplaces in the main-level living room and lower-level bedroom are decorative only and are not available for use. 📋 MINIMUM BOOKING AGE The guest making the reservation must be at least 21 years old. This requirement applies only to the booking guest, not accompanying guests or children. You’ll be asked to confirm that you meet this requirement after booking.
Other Details to Note
The home is spread across three levels and features two fireplaces, which are decorative only and not available for guest use. Please note that the property does not have central air conditioning. However, portable AC units are provided in both upstairs bedrooms and the main-level bedroom to help keep the home comfortable during the warmer summer months. The downstairs basement bedroom and living area naturally stay cooler in the summer and can be a comfortable retreat on warmer days. Small fans are also provided throughout the home for additional airflow and comfort.
